Robbie would you please send to members and post on website. Per Elvin Kever, Lee Roberts suffered a heartattack on Wednesday afternoon. He had a stint installed and was removed from ICU Friday afternoon. Elvin said he looked and talked very good today around noon on Friday. Also John Stys has a lathe for sale. See email below.

Thanks

Austin

Austin,

Per our conversation yesterday, here is the info on my jet 1442 that’s for sale.

I started the price at $850 on Craigslist, but I am willing to accept offers. I started the price at $850, because one new is around $1250. Plus, people always ask for a lower price anyway. My lathe was bought in December 2005 and was barely used. I just decided to upgrade to the jet 16”. I had one guy offer $600, but I think that’s too low. I found the attached tool buying guide and think it’s worth a little more. If you list this on the woodturner’s website or get the word out you can list it for $775. What do you think?

With this lathe you will get the manual, spur chuck, live center, knock-out rod, index pin, a 4" tool rest, a 12" tool rest, a 3" face plate, a 6" face plate, a teknatool 1” x 8tpi chuck insert and a wire tool rack. The tool rack, 3” face plate and 4” tool rest are all extras. Here is the link to the pictures: http://picasaweb.google.com/houla535/... .

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!

John Stys
